You can imagine how the excitement is growing from within. After many months of preparing for their upcoming E.P., and after many endless, sleepless, countless nights recording in the studio, the fellas of First Fall can finally see their landing strip, and what a good feeling it is.
The E.P. is being finalized with the likes of some of the most talented, known and well-respected musical scientists in the industry. This upcoming E.P. includes the work and support of Tim Palmer (David Bowie, Pearl Jam, The Cure), Benny Faccone (Sting, Maná, Santana), who's won 10 Grammy Awards, legend Alex Acuña on percussion (Weather Report, Herbie Hancock, Paul McCartney) and the mastermind behind the madness, Producer Hugo Larrea (Handfed). "It's been awesome to have such a great team on the production side of the E.P." - David (vocals, guitar).
As for the name and cover, it seems as though the band is passed the stage of tossing names and artwork around and have the concept laid out and ready. "It's taking its time, but it will be worth the wait!" says David while sipping his coffee inside a local bookstore. He opens his laptop, and begins to reveal what it will look like, what it will be called, but keeps the audio undisclosed. One thing CAN be revealed, and it's the fact that David carries the artwork of the E.P. on his iPhone, because, well, he took the photo of the working concept himself.
Rumor has it; the band has cooked up 5 surprise events leading up to the release of the E.P., the first to be revealed within a matter of days. Though First Fall may see the landing strip already, there is no sign of slowing down. The anticipation for the E.P. couldn't get any bigger, and the band couldn't have worked any harder to make this happen. Only time and firstfall.net will reveal what we've been waiting for (for a very long time). Let's hope this landing is only the band's first stop, on what could be, the greatest journey for First Fall, and their fans.
